In October 2025, Jue Jue’s Safe Space proudly marks the third anniversary of Myanmar’s first-ever 24/7 (24 hours for 7 days a week) Suicide Prevention Helpline.

Care Letter Campaign

Jue Jue’s Safe Space organized the “Care Letter Campaign” to support war survivors and displaced individuals. In times of prolonged conflict and displacement, a single letter of encouragement can provide the mental resilience needed to keep going. We collect these messages of hope and distribute them directly to those on the ground.

လက်ဖက်စကား Support Group at Wild Flower Community Support Centre, Mae Sot

The “လက်ဖက်စကား” (Tea Talk) Support Group is a weekly collaborative initiative by Jue Jue’s Safe Space and Wild Flower Community Support Centre, held every Wednesday for the Myanmar community in Mae Sot. Each session features a different theme, providing a safe and warm environment for participants to share their personal experiences and stories, fostering mutual support and community resilience.

In-person Support Group Activities at Padauk Phoo

Jue Jue’s Safe Space, in collaboration with Padauk Phoo, provides dedicated mental health support sessions for those displaced from their homes due to war and conflict. Our sessions are designed to provide a comforting environment where individuals can rebuild their mental resilience, find community among others with shared experiences, and gain the psychological strength needed to navigate these uncertain times.

Mental health strengthening training at Joy House

Jue Jue’s Safe Space is hosting an interactive Mental Health Strengthening Training at Joy House by offering a warm environment where participants can explore psychosocial support through real-life scenarios, self-reflection quizzes, and engaging group activities.

Mental health strengthening training at SAW

Jue Jue’s Safe Space together with Social Action for Children and Women (SAW) to offer mental health strengthening programs specifically for youth. Through a series of enjoyable and engaging activities, we provide a safe platform for young people to explore their journey of self-discovery to encourage them to share the challenges they face, celebrate the ways they have helped others, and express their feelings openly.

Jue Jue’s Safe Space recently conducted a Suicide Prevention Training at the Ban Mai Nai Soi Refugee Camp. Recognizing the immense psychological pressure faced by displaced communities, this program focuses on identifying early warning signs, providing immediate emotional first aid, and building a community-based support network.

Jue Jue’s Safe Space successfully reached a new milestone by hosting our first-ever Mental Health Awareness Seminar for the Burmese community in the United States. Held in the Bay Area, California, this event provided a vital space for connection and learning, focusing on the unique mental health needs of the diaspora.

Jue Jue’s Safe Space has successfully completed the second part of our U.S. Mental Health Awareness Seminar in Phoenix, Arizona. This seminar was made possible through a meaningful collaboration with the ‘စနေဝိုင်း’ families and the ‘ပြည်သူ့ဂုဏ်ရည်အသင်း (Arizona Branch)’.

Jue Jue’s Safe Space successfully completed the third part of our U.S. tour at the invitation of the Great Decision Group. During this session, we presented a unique perspective on the Myanmar crisis through a mental health lens, discussing how psychological resilience can pave the way for more effective national collaboration.

“Out Of Darkness” 2025 Suicide Prevention Community Walk

Since September is International Suicide Prevention Month; a time to foster hope and advocate for the value of life, Jue Jue’s Safe Space participated in the ‘Out Of Darkness’ Community Walk held in Hawaii, USA. This event brought together survivors, advocates, and organizations to raise awareness and break the silence surrounding suicide.

Individual Counselling

Individual counseling service is provided by qualified master level mental health providers. Each individual mental health counseling session lasts for 50-60 minutes and involves a two-way conversation between the client and the counselor. Couple Counselling

Couples seeking to resolve relationship and other issues can received couple counseling services with qualified master level mental health providers in a safe space. Each session takes about 50-60 minutes, involving a mutual comfort discussion between the couple and the counselor.
