On March 28, a catastrophic 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, its epicenter just 12 km from Sagaing Division in the northwest part of the country. Over 1,644 lives have been lost, 3,408 are injured, and 139 remain missing. And yet, to make matters even worse, the Myanmar dictatorship has continued its airstrike campaigns against its own people during this time of suffering. Homes, hospitals, and schools lie in ruins. Families are sleeping under open skies, children are starving, and survivors face a dire shortage of clean water, medical care, and shelter.
