In alignment with the theme “Building Community Through Healing,” the second Mental Health Conference was conducted over three days, from April 7th to 9th, 2023. The conference aimed to provide healing not only to ethnic Burmese individuals in Myanmar but also to their ethnic counterparts around the globe who are facing crises stemming from the ongoing instability in Myanmar. On the first day of the conference, experts from various fields presented diverse perspectives on the topic of Generational Grief, which addresses the losses experienced across generations. The second day focused on Intergenerational Trauma, exploring the trauma that is transmitted through generations. Finally, on the third day, the emphasis was on Community Healing, highlighting the importance of mutual support and healing within communities.
